- Presumably it's everybody (1) downloading the new client, and (2) logging in and out with various characters to update their achievements. - I get stuck on "Requesting login" and can literally leave it for hours w/o successfully logging in. I haven't been able to login for the last 12 hours. I've tried the repair option through the launcher. I've tried disabling all addons. I've tried windows update. I've tried turning off my firewall (eso already exempted anyway).

- You can login still in the eso account if you haven't followed or got the above but you can't link it to steam and so can't login from the launcher. Try making a new eso account and do it this time.I also used my steam mail for the eso account creation not sure if that plays any role when you link it to steam later probably not but you never know.

- Just to confirm to create a new account when you get to the multiplayer log in screen you need to press the "New Account?" button and fill in all the boxes there. Make sure you creating your account on the Normal (Original) game and log in their first. IIRC you need to do this first before it works on TAD.
