- 19.12.2010 · I am trying to login to my new FileZilla Client but have never been able to get past this message: 530 Login authentication failed. I have followed every ounce of direction from File Zilla, GoDaddy (where I'm hosted) and WordPress (whose templates I'm trying to upload). Nothing is working. Help! Here is the info:

- Hi @simarsandhu29, try using ftp from the command line. It could just be your ftp client playing up. Ftp is built into all modern computers. There is no need to buy fancy clients.
