Auto user login - P2P help - armbian forum

    https://forum.armbian.com/topic/16788-auto-user-login/
IMHO earlier, in all Armbian builds, autologin was enabled by default and all users are used to this behavior, so it is advisable to keep this in new versions (i.e. make autologin enabled by default and disable autologin yourself, through the armbian-config setting).

Automatic Login - Allwinner H2 & H3 - armbian forum

    https://forum.armbian.com/topic/1776-automatic-login/
The most simple solution would be to start your script from the file /etc/rc.local. Just add a line starting your script before the "exit 0" line last in the /etc/rc.local file. In this way there is no need to login. The file /etc/rc.local is run automatically by the system at boot. 3 syrial Members 0 Author Posted August 10, 2016

Reboot. Serial console on imx6 boards are ttymxc0 (Hummingboard, Cubox-i) or ttymxc1 (Udoo). How to toggle verbose boot?¶ Using Armbian 5.05 to 5.20 you would need to touch/rm /boot/.force-verbose to increase boot verbosity. With more recent Armbian builds you would have to alter the verbosity= line in /boot/armbianEnv.txt (defaults to 1 which means less verbose, maximum value is 7).

Orange Pi 3 - Armbian

    https://www.armbian.com/orange-pi-3/
As Linux doesn't wrap PCIe memory space access, it's not possible to do a proper PCIe controller driver for H6. The BSP kernel modifies the driver to wrap the access, so it's also not generic, and only devices with modified driver will work. Armbian does not support BSP based kernels. You can find more information here and here.
