    By this I meant that I could connect to the Nighthawk wifi via the phone, but likewise via the browser neither routerlogin.net nor 192.168.1.1 got me to the Nighthawk login page (or anywhere else if I remember correctly), and I have a ping app, which could not ping 192.168.1.1 despite appearing connected to the nighthawk wifi SSID.

    I am experiencing a similar problem. I logged into routerlogin.net. When prompted to check for updates, I clicked on the box. After taking this action, I could not log back into the router page by either typing routerlogin.net, routerlogin.com, or the router's IP address.
