    Personal opinion, don't use the USB stick. Login to the modem using a wired connection with a pc, bring up a web browser and enter 192.168.0.1 into the address bar to bring up the login page. User name is cusadmin, password is password. Login using that method and navigate through the various web interface pages to set the various parameters.
