- Paul - 2011-02-08 You should not use the windows account as the KeePass key. If you ever re-install Windows or want to open the database on another PC you will not be able to. Set a master password for your database, then create a batch file in your start up folder that runs KeePass with the password on the command line. cheers, Paul
