    This didn';t fix it. Decided to just start from scratch with a re-install after running a chkdsk and memory test. Windows refused to load, just looping round the Startup Repair/Start Windows Normally page. Cleared the disk through cmd and went to install Windows. The desktop refuses to acknowledge the mouse and keyboard.
