- 13/11/2014 · I just installed CentOS 7 and all went well. After rebooting, i got a prompt to enter localhost login: .. I entered my username i had set up and the password during installation. Next i was at another prompt. I dont know what to enter at the next prompt. I dont know how to get to my desktop from there. I was stuck on that dos screen.

- 25/11/2010 · When you were installing CentOS that time it is asking password for root user. That is your password. Super user of every Unix and Linux is only "root" Means login as root and provide same password. You would be able to login in your CentOS box.
