- To solve the issue, instead of doing "A normal reset", we have to [Reset Default Config] for it to work again. ~~Type your router IP in your browser > System Tools > [Restore Default Configuration] Not the normal reset! This will fix your issue temporarily until you crash in-game, where as you would have to do it again and again.

- What I did was simply re-install the game by downloading the client again from mapleglobal. if she has the newer version of norton, a pop-up will come up saying "maplestory.exe is attempting to connect to the internet" IF THIS COMES UP HIT PERMIT AND ALWAYS USE THIS ACTION. - This caused me to see Elysium at first instead of Luna, and made me unable to login at first, after I deleted the Wizet folder/keys from the registry it worked again. Maybe it helps with your issue as well, but I don't know.
