FYI- for those who have Onstar and have been frustrated like I am that the Remote Link app will not run on a Windows 7 mobile phone, Blackberry or certain Android phones there is now a new Android simulator that works on a Windows pc. It is now a free beta.

- Posted November 1, 2013. I recently setup my website login for OnStar on my 2014 GMC Sierra SLT. Everything seems to be working fine as I see my oil life, tire pressure, etc. I then went and downloaded the RemoteLink app on my Motorola Droid X2. I was able to sign in on the app and view the same diagnostics that are on the website.

My Onstar Remote version is 2.0.0-R2042 and the last time i tried it (about 6 weeks ago) it worked by honking the horn & flashing the Lights while the car was at the wifes office and she said it was loud and long before i turned it off, But it did work.
