BT Openzone keeps logging me out - Apple Community

    https://discussions.apple.com/thread/2546025
I've spoken to Orange and BT, but although they admit there must be a fault, they haven't resolved it. I understand that I need to log in once to BT Openzone using my mobile number and password that Orange give me, and then BT Openzone is supposed to remember my iPhone's MAC address indefinitely if I subsequently connect to any BT Openzone hotspot.

Solved: Connect to a French Orange hotspot? - BT Community

    https://community.bt.com/t5/Archive-Staging/Connect-to-a-French-Orange-hotspot/td-p/1726000
The Orange web site shows BT Openzone as a partner allowing free access and says to use the same details to log in as I would in the UK. (I have only used Fon WiFi in the UK and France.) Entering my email/password fails with a incorrect format (or such) message. Using my BT user Id it fails with a user authentication message.

Click on having problems and it says to check your details. Done that and have reset my login password multiple times.

How do I connect to a BT Wi-fi hotspot with my laptop ...

    https://www.bt.com/help/broadband/fix-a-problem/public-bt-wi-fi-hotspots/how-do-i-connect-to-a-bt-wi-fi-hotspot-with-my-laptop-
With an Apple laptop, click on the "Airport" icon at the top of the screen and a list of available networks should drop down. You should look for wireless networks with names that include "BT Wi-fi", "Openzone" or "FON". If you see one of these, click on the name and (if necessary) click "Connect". You'll now be connected to the BT Wi-fi hotspot.

Cannot access Openzone or Fon sign-on page :: BT Broadband ...

I have BT Infinity Option 2 and am opted-in to the BT Fon community (I have checked this) and I want to use Openzone/Fon on an upcoming trip so tried testing it here at home. I can see both Openzone and Fon on my list of available networks, and can connect to both with a strong signal (probably from my own HH3).

    3. I have no problem getting the full landing page and logging into the main BT Openzone Hotspots, in places like libraries. Like I said before the problem seems worst out in the country where we live. This points to a patchy broadband signal coming down the line from the exchange to the properties in our area.

    https://community.plus.net/t5/Tech-Help-Software-Hardware-etc/Wi-Fi-access-via-BT-Openzone-hangs/m-p/6362
Last Thursday I tried to use Wi-Fi at a BT Openzone hotspot, the BT Openzone welcome page was displayed and I could choose to login via the PlusNet login page. Having done that I got a "login successful" page, but when I clicked "Connect to the Internet" it just went back to the BT Openzone welcome page. I ended up just going around in circles.
