- General Windows Here's the deal. I have a user who is trying to login remotely. When they attempt to, the RDP window closes after the 'Preparing Desktop' stage. Windows Server 2008 R2 with CAL's. I tried to login to their profile in my office and experienced the same issue. I tried recreating the user and still have the same issue. Any ideas?
