- The only suggestion I can find is to confirm that your clock is accurate. You can check it against http://www.time.gov/ . Note that seconds do matter with this kind of security, so it's possible. Though the fact that it works when you don't launch it through steam suggestes the problem might be something else. Still, worth checking. #3 WTFast

- Try to find what the IP of the server is, and execute the tracert command to that IP (there are instructions on how to do in google ). Afaik it will tell you at which hop (at which server on the way to you from the game) the packet loss / ping increase occurs and you can go to your ISP with this log.
