- When I boot Vista, it loads fine into the sign-in page where I enter my password. Following that it displays a lit black screen with nothing showing except for the mouse. I can boot Vista in safe mode and it loads fine. Additionally, I can hit CTRL+ALT+DELETE when on 'black screen mode' and I am able to access task manager.
