    Once the Sure Signal has booted, unplug the ethernet connection from Port 4 and try another port just in case port 4 is faulty, obviously don't use the port your computer is plugged into. It should give an IP address for the device something like 192.168.1.65 the last 2 digits may be different depending on what other devices you have.

Mine's running 9.1.1811.401 which was installed around 20 January, although dates will vary as VM do scheduled roll outs.     Looking through Vodafone's support offerings for the Sure Signal they do look somewhat lacking in consistency and common sense. I've seen were they says the SS doesn't use UPnP and on another page recommend enabling it. And the ports they recommend forwarding are just plain ridiculous IMO.
