- The WD Desktop program is end of life and recently it appears some have had trouble with it accessing their My Cloud devices after the latest firmware updates. One may have to, within the WD Desktop program, remove the My Cloud entry then re-add it using the proper login for either remote access (Cloud Access) or local access.

- If some of you have deleted the Admin account this could happen to you. You will need to reset the My Cloud with the power off. Pull the power plug. At the same time as you plug power into the WD My Cloud device, press the Reset button and hold for about 40 seconds. The device undergoes a system restore and powers back on.

- I have two WD my cloud NAS here with eero gen.1 and they work without any problem. A NAS connects via ethernet to the network and unless you are having remote access issues (port forwarding in eero) the NAS should announce itself to the network (ARP). I would power cycle the NAS to see if that connect to the network.
