- May 06, 2007 · If you miss the message, there should be a "chkdsk.log" file somewhere on your HD, usually at "C:\" or "C:\Windows". If there are any errors, attach (please do not post) the log file to your next post. Check Device Manager and see if it is no longer yellowed. regardless of his mental state, he should HAVE known better.

- Apr 05, 2022 · A customer brought in a pc today that has an issue with the XP Pro O.S. freezing up when attempting to boot. The pc freezes up at the welcome screen during norma; and safe mode boots. I have ran a OEM xp pro installation disk with the attempt to fix it with the repair option. I also ran a disk check and am still unable to get the pc to fully boot.
