- It looks like i will be pushing the front axle forward 2.5- 3" to keep it as low as I can. I am using a steering box off a 2002 gmc 1500. Fits pretty good up inside the frame rail. Swapping the gas tank out for a Genright EXT TJ 05-06 tank. It uses a JK pump and sending unit that will be compatible with the 5.3l motor.
